Makers of Melbourne is a cultural website, focused on what makes Melbourne tick, what makes it in music, fashion, food, art and other cultural events. I was asked to design the logo and website that would cross the boundaries between elegant design and street realities, between the catwalk and the sidewalk. The site will expand over time, with new features added as they position themselves as the leading place to view what makes it in Melbourne.

This week is Berlin fashion week, fashion victims are wandering the streets day and night, feeding off free alcohol and appetisers. and I have joined this little procession for a moment.. although my wardrobe is rather limited compared to the rest i think.. but i like it that way. So far i have visited with friends, Butterfly soulfire short film event, great edgy art film with soundtrack by Apparat and Ripa Fries a jewellery atelier launch of new art/jewellery works. Tonight is a Japanese related opening, followed the next night by and International food evening.. hmm must come up with something to cook for that one…

this was taken while setting up at NoNoYes for an event called BlackBlackWhite, which was held in Tokyo on the 21st Feb 2009. It looked very space age in this photo i thought and i liked the blue tint, even though it didn’t quite look like this in reality.

What a legend MK is!  but i forgot to take photo of him, so here is a photo of one the bags he makes!
